Boarding at Island Cats
When you can't be there...
Island Cats is proud to take care of every kitty as if they are our own. People are often away on vacation or business travel, or sometimes need to leave home during reconstruction or reflooring. Cats shouldn't be left alone more than 24 hours especially if they have any pre-existing conditions, are on medications or prescription diets. Treat your cat to some pampering with us! You are welcome to bring special treats and toys from home but it's not necessary. We provide bedding, toys, food, and lots o' loving with your kitty's lodging. We offer each of our kitty guests their own toys and varying levels of privacy and interaction depending on what brings them the greatest comfort and joy. Our boarding staff tailors their care to the unique demands of each cat for an individualized experience with Island Cats.
We love to love on cats!
Every kitty is unique in their desire for attention, play, and interaction. Some cats love to grab a nearby human. Some want to toss cat toys in the middle of a catnip romp. Some cats' homes are their castles and, no, they would not like to leave their private haven thank you very much! Some cats love to go for "shoulder rides." Some prefer screens on their front door so they can avoid the human paparazzi peekin' in their living room--sheesh, what's a cat gotta do to get a little privacy around here! Some want to curl up in their fleecy beds and greet you with a lazy yawn before breakfast. Some cats don't want to have anything to do with these strange humans (but secretly love it when you leave a toy inside their kitty abode--it's ok to play while no one's looking...). Almost all kitties, extroverted or introverted, big or small, absolutely love mealtime the best of all.
